 Executive Chef | Julian Parks

My name is Julian Parks and I've been making sushi professionally for over 12 years. I'm originally from South Florida, however, I moved out to Santa Cruz, California in 2014.

After a few years, I transitioned down to Oceanside where I recently completed an Associates degree in Accounting, Liberal Arts w/ a focus on Math & Science, and Business Administration Mira Costa Community College. Currently, I'm located in Santa Barbara studying Economics & Accounting at UCSB!

In addition to my experience with Japanese food, I've also spent time working with french cuisine in a well established restaurant that partially specializes in working with seafood. As of last December, Juene Et Jolie in Carlsbad, California, maintained its Michelin star and is well on the way to obtaining a second.
